Mr. Christopher Harris Christopher Harris

joined the PEO CS & CSS team in April 2016. He comes from the Internal Revenue service where he served as a senior manager for FISMA IT services where he oversaw the Risk Management Framework for all IT systems in the IRS. He also served as the branch chief for the World Class center of excellence where managed a staff responsible for Knowledge management and Lean Six Sigma practices throughout the service. He was a section chief for applications Development, and also a lead integrator for the IRS application modernization where they converted all there COBOL programs to Java, including the filing season programs that impact each and every worker in the United States. Before he was a telecommunications specialist and held a variety of Cisco certifications.

Mr. Harris retired from the U.S. Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 where he served as the Computer Network Defense Team Chief. He is a graduate of the Unites States Signal Officer basic and advanced courses. He currently holds Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), Certified Information Security manager (CISM), Project management Professional, IT Infrastructure Library and Security Plus certifications.

He is a graduate of the IRS senior manager’s course and the leading leader’s course.

He currently manages the Knowledge Management/SharePoint team, IT Helpdesk, VTC, IT acquisitions and the cybersecurity teams consisting of 15 core government personnel and 8 contractors that support the PEO CS & CSS portfolios and Programs in Redstone Alabama, Ft. Belvoir Va., and Natick Ma. As well as the Warren and Selfridge areas.

Mr. Harris hold a masters of information assurance degree in digital forensics as well as a bachelor of Business administration degree.
