2018 STEM Scholarship Program

Encouraging and supporting students to improve technical capabilities and enter careers involving STEM is a Matter of National Importance! In support of this need, the NDIA's Michigan Chapter is offering academic scholarships of $1,000 per recipient to competitive high school students pursuing education at a Michigan college or university in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) for the 2018-2019 academic year.

To be eligible, applicants must be:
  • A U.S. citizen
  • Have Michigan residency or active military parent serving in Michigan
  • Planned enrollment in pursuit of a STEM-related BS degree program at a Michigan college or university prior to the start of the 2018 Fall Semester
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (basis 4.0 scale)
  • Demonstrate a growing interest in college preparatory studies
  • Be active within the school or local community

The 2018 STEM Application process is closed. Recipients will be awarded and announced in May.
