The theme for the Tuesday, 12 August 2025 Outdoor Reception is "GVSETS of Futuraland". Don’t miss your chance to orbit with the best and brightest, where retro-chic meets intergalactic sleek! Stroll by automatons, luminous displays, and skywalks alive with levitating vehicles. Savor curated cosmic cuisine and premium cigars, all while vintage space-age melodies beam through the atmosphere. Explore the galaxy's edge as you meet fellow space explorers, inventors, and illustrious influencers. Cruise over to the west side of this soaring metropolis where live technology demonstrations are showcasing tomorrow’s innovations – TODAY!
The theme for the Wednesday, 13 August 2025 Indoor Reception is "GVSETS Ground Systems of the Galaxy". Explore the observation deck in the exhibit hall and team up with our exhibitors on a mission among the stars. Voyagers following the GVSETS Star Map will have illuminated hyperlanes guiding them to our sponsor stations marked with 3D holographic beacons. Report back with discoveries from your quest at the NDIA Michigan Chapter Booth and be rewarded with Galactic Commendations (and the possibility of a prize!)!!
Technical Demos
The 17th annual GVSETS reception theme, Sci-Fi, exemplifies humanity’s propensity to turn distant technological concepts into reality, a pursuit that has stemmed from centuries past and will continue to materialize millennia in the future. This year we’ve invited folks to showcase technology demonstrations that engage attendees and showcase novel technologies for the military ground vehicle community. Tech demo periods will have four 15-minute demos, and each day will conclude with a “best demo of the day” award for demonstrations that most underscore innovation and transformation.
